Northern Alberta International Children's Festival of the Arts
For over three decades the Northern Alberta International Children’s Festival has served as a signature cultural event for the region. Building bridges between art, culture and education, this magical six-day festival transforms downtown St. Albert into a world where the only limitation is one’s imagination.
From interaction with artists and performers from around the world, to the ability to learn about far away places and time periods, to the hands-on creation of one-of-a-kind artistic masterpieces, this festival is a truly unique family experience.
The International Children's Festival of the Arts is an exciting annual festival for kids of all ages in the heart of downtown St. Albert. Between Tuesday, May 29th and Sunday, June 3rd 2018, the picturesque banks of the Sturgeon River will come alive with theatre, dance, crafts, acrobats, musicians, and thousands of children and their families exploring the arts together.
The Festival is only made possible through the outstanding commitment of our hundreds of volunteers. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of six hours throughout the Festival. From food services to ushering to green team to craft assistant, there is a position in this Festival for everyone.
More information on the festival can be found at www.childfest.com.
