We’re looking for a skilled intern with excellent research skills to work closely with our Director of Programs and program teams. The goal is to gather research and conduct interviews to explore our program impact and help inform our program management, development  and direction. The intern will be responsible for conducting researching, literature reviews and analyze and report on data. Supervision of intern will be provided by the Director of Programs and the CEO and also supported by the program team (made up of key volunteers and program leads). 

Ideal for someone with course work in:

  • Library & Information Studies (Crse)
  • Community Social Work
  • Science
  • Medical Science
  • Health Sciences

Some specialized skills required:

  • Basic computer skills using Office and One-Drive
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Conduct literature review
  • Designing surveys
  • Conducting research interviews and focus groups

What we will accomplish at the end of the Internship:

  • A research project will be co-created between Wellspring and successful candidate
  • A literature review on a selected area of focus will be conducted
  • Final report will be delivered on research project
  • Conducting of literature searches chosen from topics identified by Wellspring Director of Programs
