Sound Designer/Composer for the theatre production of Bluebirds by Vern Thiessen.  A play which celebrates the work of Canadian volunteer nurses, tending to and saving the lives of soldiers in France  in World War I

In this position, the intern will use and build upon their skills and knowledge in music composition and theatre sound design to create a soundscape to accompany the play Bluebirds. The student will create new original music to support the production of the play as well as find and place sound effects within a sound design.  The intern will work with the director to capture the sound and feeling of the World War I field hospital, the places in the nurses memory’s and the bombing that ultimately ended their young lives.
