The Alberta Legacy Development Society (ALDS) formed to save Leduc's last grain elevator. That was accomplished with Registered Historic Site Status in 2003. Recently our South Warehouse was converted into an Interpretive Centre and we are now looking to organize our records and photographs.
We are looking for someone to create an archive. The successful applicant must be able to use current archival standards to organize our collection. The archive needs to be both physical and digital in the form of a searchable database. The applicant will research archival software and provide a recommendation for the most appropriate for our needs.
The organizing of the collection will be done onsite but the development of the database can be done from home.

- Arts and Cultural Management
Some specialized skills required:

What we will accomplish at the end of the Internship:
- Software recommendations.
- Creating a database.
- Creating an archive.
