Suggested Deliverables/Duties

Plan and implement a political forum of Lethbridge candidates for the provincial election. The forum will focus on family issues and take place at Family Centre on March 4, 2019 (To Be Confirmed). Duties will include:

  • Communicate with stakeholders such as candidates and participants
  • Develop and prepare a marketing strategy
  • Work with Family Centre staff to arrange for free childcare
  • Report progress to Family Centre management

Ideal for someone with course work in:

  • Science
  • Management Development
  • Marketing

Some specialized skills required:

  • Ability to work towards defined milestones
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Email, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Strong communication skills - in person, in writing, and on social media
  • Ability to work towards many diverse aspects of a large project
  • Studies in political science, marketing, management, or equivalent

What we will accomplish at the end of the Internship:
