The Fundraiser Coordinator will work with Stride Gallery’s Director and Assistant Director to assist with the execution of Stride Annual Fundraiser, an important art auction event that will take place on Saturday, November 18. The position will encompass marketing, promotion, communication, development, donation liaison, coordination, installation and overall execution of the event.
The hours for this position is flexible, with regular staff meeting or work days in the gallery. This opportunity will provide an unparalleled experience for an individual interested in pursuing a career in the arts or arts administration. The Fundraiser Coordinator will gain valuable skillsets in communicating with staff and artists in a fast-paced professional environment.
For the success of the internship this position will be accompanied with robust mentorship and support from both the Gallery Director and Assistant Director.
The ideal candidate should be confident in effective communication and time management skills to organize and liaise with multiple donors and artists, as well as the staff. The Coordinator will be comfortable with social media promotion strategies. Because this position requires much liaison work, the ideal candidate will be confident in their interpersonal skillsets.
The candidate must be available during the week of the auction, from November 14 to 18. Fluency in Adobe Create Suite, Mailchimp and installation experience is an asset.
