Synergy is a not-for-profit society serving Chestermere, Langdon, and SE Rocky View, which believes that by offering youth (ages 7 - 17+) weekly opportunities to engage in both volunteerism and positive leadership development programming, flourishing communities for the future are ensured.

Synergy is seeking an enthusiastic and creative team member to research and develop a fundraising strategy for the upcoming program year. The ideal candidate will successfully develop multiple fundraiser plans while consistently seeking new ideas and ways to generate community engagement in fundraising initiatives. This opportunity involves the development of both a strategic fundraising plan and multiple fundraisers during Synergy’s program year.  

Ideal for someone with course work in:

  • Event Planning
  • Arts Administration/Management
  • Communications
  • Business

Some specialized skills required:

  • Criminal Record Check & Child Intervention Check
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Relationship management
  • Knowledge of online & social media platforms for communication and promotion
