Synergy is a not-for-profit society serving Chestermere, Langdon, and SE Rocky View, which believes that by offering youth (ages 7 - 17+) weekly opportunities to engage in both volunteerism and positive leadership development programming, flourishing communities for the future are ensured.

Synergy is seeking an enthusiastic and creative team member to plan and coordinate fundraising events throughout the program year. The ideal candidate will successfully execute fundraisers throughout the year for various Synergy programs, while consistently seeking new ideas and ways to generate community engagement in fundraising initiatives. This opportunity involves event planning, volunteer coordination, fundraiser promotion, donor recognition, and much more.

Ideal for someone with course work in:

  • Event Planning
  • Arts Administration/Management
  • Communications
  • Business

Some specialized skills required:

  • Criminal Record Check & Child Intervention Check
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Relationship management
  • Knowledge of online & social media platforms for communication and promotion
  • Event management
